What We Learned: Are the Stars already in trouble?

If you're a Dallas Stars fan looking for a bit of hope headed into tonight's Game 2, I don't have much for ya, apart from: "It's only one game."

But the circumstances around that one game? Yeesh. From a certain point of view, there was reason to be pleased with the effort, if not the result. Both Thomas Harley and Peter DeBoer said afterward that it was one of the Stars' best performances in the past few weeks, which is good in some ways, but also, if you're losing 5-1 and getting blanked at 5-on-5 in a "our best game in weeks" scenario, I'm not sure how much there is to celebrate.

Trust the process, yup. And not that you want to draw too many conclusions from Game 1 of a best-of-seven series, yup. But if you were envisioning a reasonable worst-case scenario for Dallas, this had to be pretty
